The GoI launched the largest Skill Certification Scheme Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKV) on 20th March, 2015. It is a flagship scheme at is driving towards greater realization of the vision that to make India the skill capital of the world. We are a youthful nation and the World & India need a skilled workforce, so enabling& mobilizing the youth to fulfill their livelihood needs by developing their skill and transforming them into skilled & confident youth. Owing to its successful first year of implementation the GoI has extended the program to further four years (2016-2020). PEJKS has been functioning in diversified fields having comprehensive knowledge and multi-sector experience continues to adopt new challenging interventions in its operational area. Its long presence and commitment to sustain development makes him to be part of the Prime Minister Flagship scheme (PMKVY) in its operational area RUDRAPUR. The program has six components:-
During the year, outreach campaigns were conducted across the district of Rudrapur. The outreach campaigns comprises a combination of door to door visits, mobile vans, and interaction with community based groups and local leadership. All outreach effort s are to target school/college dropouts or unemployed youths. After screeningthey are enrolled for the program. Training is imparted to the enrolled students as per National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). Kaushal Mela are conducted in coordination with State/Local representatives once in every six months in accordance with the Kaushal and Rozgar Mela guideline. Biometric device o capture the students and teachers attendance enabled by Aadhar. To ensure that our mobilization efforts are visible on print, outdoor and digital media platform in accordance with Branding and communication guideline.Regular counseling with students and their family members to motivate to ensure the presence of the student during the training session. Awareness sessions were also carried out in the operational area through various social and community interaction activity.
