The name of the organization “PARYAVARAN EVAM JAN KALYAN SAMITI,” (PEJKS) depicts its vision and commitment towards a “Pollution Free and Green Revolution”. We at PEJKS focus on making a pollution-free society improving the quality of life of the underprivileged community and striving towards environment sustainability.

PEJKS is a non-profit making, voluntary organization registered as a society under the Society Registration Act, of 1860. The organization was founded in 2000 with a focus on improving the quality of life of socioeconomically deprived communities and ensuring environmental sustainability. Since its inception, PEJKS has strived to implement various development programs towards community development and environmental sustainability.

PEJKS, over the past 21 years has been functioning intact with its vision and in close coordination with the underprivileged communities, government, and other agencies, especially with extending its projects in remote and backward areas.

The organization has been functioning in diversified fields, it includes integrated sustainable development programs viz. better health & hygiene services, appropriate sanitation facilities, HIV/AIDS awareness, DOT, family planning program, counseling to drug addicts,  and alcoholics, holistic child development, quality education, skill enhancement for livelihood, women & youth empowerment, employable skill, Natural Resource Management, adult literacy, entrepreneurship development, and community awareness, etc.

With comprehensive knowledge and multi-sector experience, PEJKS continues to adopt new challenging interventions in its operational areas. We initiated interaction with various corporates to fulfill their social commitments through their CSR. In the reporting year, we initiated various CSR interventions with the support of TATA Motors in Pantnagar and BHEL in Rudrapur.

PEJKS has a qualified professional and field team which helps the organization to fulfill its financial as well as community commitments. PEJKS envisages a healthy society, that is economically productive and equitable, socially just, environmentally sound, and genuinely democratic.
