Udham Singh Nagar is one of the most populated districts in Uttarakhand. District Headquarters Rudrapur city is one of the biggest Industrial hubs (SIDCUL) in the state. Due to the giant industrial areas, there is a huge migration from UP, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and some other states in these slum areas of Rudrapur city as well as from the hilly & adjacent districts from the state itself. There are a couple of slum areas available in the city, those areas are known as Transit Camps, Khera, Jagatpura, etc.

Paryavaran Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti,  Targeted Intervention Migrant working in this Area Since 2012 in Rudrapur (U.S.Nagar) with the support of Uttarakhand State AIDS Control Society, Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand, to cover High-Risk Population. We have been implementing the Target Intervention-Migrant Program since the year 2012 and registered more than 50,000 Migrants Population. In the reporting year, 17889 migrants were registered, and conducted 1070 ICTC tests as well.

Our main goal is to make the world better for all suffering humans.

The purpose of PEJKS is to focus on all topics relating to human rights, social issues, environmental issues, and advocacy. We strive to develop and improve society’s social and political conditions on a large scale.
