National Youth Day creates awareness and provides knowledge about the rights of people in India. It is a day to educate people to behave properly in the country. The main objective behind the celebration is to make a better future of the country by motivating the youths and spreading the ideas of the Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also famously known as Yuva Diwas.

National Youth Day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. He was a social reformer, philosopher, and thinker. The main objective behind the celebration is to propagate the philosophy and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda for which he lived and worked. No doubt he was a great inspiration for all National Youth of India. Across the country, several functions are organized in schools, colleges, etc.

Activities planned and undergone are as follows:

  1. National Youth Day was celebrated at Skill Development Center, Rudrapur on 12th March 2021. This was organized by Paryavaran Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti TI FSW in U.S.Nagar. The purpose of celebrating Youth Day is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and COVID-19.
  2. A quiz competition was conducted in morning and many students had participated.

The purpose of PEJKS is to focus on all topics relating to human rights, social issues, environmental issues, and advocacy. We strive to develop and improve society’s social and political conditions on a large scale.
